The new VES/Delta 1000 Workstation is the ideal solution for rental houses

It is one thing to own and operate your own editing system; but it could be daunting to offer such a system out for rent! But not any more.

The VES/Delta 1000 workstation is the perfect solution for those companies or individuals who would like to generate extra income by offering a professional editing system out for rent.

To begin with, everything that the client would need is already available in the system. It ships from us as a complete, turn-key solution that includes two monitors, professional audio speakers, keyboard, mouse, and so on. All of the software is already installed and good to go.

The hard drives are easily removable, and transit cases are included for the four tower drives and for the five RAID drives.

In order to "prep" a system for rental, all that you would have to do is to run the RED Disk DVD. The entire System Drive C and all of the software applications will be re-installed to their perfect state. The System Drive is essentially brand new, virgin, and completely configured. Effortlessly.

While the editing system is in your client's possession, should they encounter a software problem, all they have to do is to run the RED Disk DVD themselves. It will perfectly restore and configure the System Drive software & applications automatically, without your having to send out a technician.

When the client is finished, they can easily backup & archive their project & media onto an external hard drive.

After the rental system is returned to you, just run the RED Disk DVD to undo whatever "stuff" the client may have done (or not) to your installation.

Offer your client a choice of renting Avid Media Composer and/or Liquid. They both reside comfortably in the system and can be part of the RED Disk. For Liquid clients, just include the BOB (break-out box) with the system. For Media Composer clients, provide them (for a rental fee) with the Dongle (a USB key) to give them access to the software. Include a Mojo box with their package.

Other rental options could be additional software; and hardware options such as the Edirol audio interface for audio recording and the FaderMaster for multi-track mixdown.
